Icy
Icy is an ice cream serving dish set. Ice cream is often served in a bowl with the spoon placed separately on a plate, on a cloth or inside the bowl. Icy brings these elements together and makes the spoon a part of the serving dish. A magnetic base holds the spoon in place while the dish is carried and served. The bowls take the form of faceted crystals set in a frame, in three different shapes, to suggest cold and transparent pieces of ice. The materials are aluminium, crystal glass, stainless steel and magnets.
Icy Ice Cream Bowl by Heloise Rajkumari was recognized as a grand illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Icy Ice Cream Bowl was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2016. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program that rewards superior design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
