Base
The design of the Base series focuses on the function of a drinking glass, highlighting the contrast between being empty or full. The glasses are made from borosilicate glass. Thin and delicate, but with a solid base with a lot of depth. The series includes three sizes: 200ml, 330ml, and 500ml, and is designed to be stackable. The packaging is made from recycled cardboard, emphasizing sustainability.
Base Drinking Glass by Florian Seidl was featured as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Base Drinking Glass won the Bronze A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2025. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award which rewards excellent design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
