Prints
Prints is a tableware collection that includes serving plates, bowls, deep plates and cups. Each piece is produced from one hundred percent recycled industrial waste, shaped with a press mold technique. The surfaces carry patterns inspired by the tails and footprints of endangered animals, among them the black rhino, the crane, the hippopotamus, the blue whale and the fallow deer. The material is not harmful to health, the surface resists scratches and the pieces are suitable for dishwasher use. The collection was created to limit waste and to raise awareness of species at risk.
Prints Tableware by Mustafa Bekiroglu was featured as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Prints Tableware received the Iron A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2023. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that honors exceptional design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
