Totem
Totem is a modular vertical kitchen system. Each module can house an oven, an extractor hood, a refrigerator, a hob, a counter top, a sink, a coffee machine, a dishwasher or storage. The modules are stacked and joined by structural and electrical connections, so the appliances can be used on one, two, three or four sides. Every container element measures 650 mm in width and 650 mm in depth, with a height that varies with the function housed. Where a drain connection is not needed, Totem can furnish offices, canteens or small flats.
Totem Appliances Assembly System by Andrea Cingoli was identified as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Totem Appliances Assembly System was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Kitchen Furniture, Equipment and Fixtures Design in 2022. The A' Kitchen Furniture, Equipment and Fixtures Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that rewards outstanding design of cabinets, countertops, islands, pantries, tables, chairs, bar stools, sinks and more.
